I earned my Ph.D. (Engineering) in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Kalyani, India, on April 23, 2018. Part of my Ph.D. research was conducted at the University of Lodz, Poland, as an "Erasmus+ Exchange Ph.D. Student." After obtaining my Ph.D., I worked for over three years as a Postdoctoral Researcher in EU countries, including the Czech Republic, France, and Finland, and for over three years as an Assistant Professor in Slovenia and India. Currently, I am working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland.

My research interests include Facility location problems, Hub location-allocation problems, Transportation problems, Soft Computing, Evolutionary computation, Heuristic/metaheuristic algorithms, and Applied Operations Research.
